My first Thanksgiving!

This year was a first for me. I cooked a turkey all by myself and hosted a Thanksgiving dinner at my house. I woke up at 8:00 and the rest of the day revolved around food!! I cooked enough to feed an army cause sometimes I don't know when to stop. After dinner we played some games and sat around singing and playing guitars. It was awesome!















Happy Holidays!! I'm so excited for the next month cause I really love the Christmas season!

Fun at church

Church is always a good time, but sometimes it's even better. Today I was asked by my cute girlfriend to go to the marriage/dating/relationship course that the bishopric teaches in our ward during the sunday school block. Mostly it turned in to a free-for all for everyone to express their opinions on dating and how they felt about their current dating status and how they think it all should be. Towards the end of class after we had heard many suggestions on dating and some counsel on how it should be, Trisha leaned toward my ear and whispered to me "I THINK WE ARE DOING OKAY!!!" I put this in caps because, bless her heart, sometimes she thinks she's whispering when she really isn't. As our friend Alice, who was sitting next to me and opposite Trisha, looked in our direction and started to laugh, Trisha realized her proclamation to the class. She got really embarassed, hid her head in her hands and started laughing. I couldn't help but laugh! I just thought I would post this story so that the proclamation can go out to all...

For those of you who frequent Trisha's blog, you will be bored by this entry as it seems that our lives have the same events with the same pictures (thats because Trisha takes all the pictures and I steal them). She was however nice enough to save some pictures just for my blog! We went to an awesome halloween party on thursday night. In fact, I'm not sure I've ever been to a party decked out this much, it was really fun. We, of course, loved our costumes and were very proud of them. It's halloween time and it's not unusual to see people with painted faces. On an average sunday night, however, someone comes with a genius idea to paint my face with frosting. That's where all this fun came from...

Watertown, MA

I can't believe that I am already half way done with my second rotation! It's gone by so fast. I am currently doing a rotation at a health clinic in East Boston, which is right next to Logan International airport. It's been really great because I actually only have to report to my site 2 or 3 days a week for about 2 hours at a time. Totally only 6-8 hours a week... Not bad! I've been doing a lot of projects and research for presentations so I remain busy. Since my rotation is in Boston, I decided to take a place with a couple of guys from church and it has been so great. I always wanted the experience of living in Boston and now I have it. I love being close to my rotation and only driving for 10 minutes to get to church. I love being close to Trish and seeing her almost everyday. I have also had the opportunity to get to know the streets of the greater Boston area as I try to avoid tolls at all cost. I've gotten pretty good at it and had some scenic drives. One of my favorite things is driving to my site on Storrow Drive. It is such a scenic drive, especially in the Fall. I also love driving back to Worcester on occasion to work and passing all the trees changing colors. The East Coast is beautiful in the Fall, no denying that. Here are some pics that I have taken with my phone (which is why they are not high quality, but you get the idea).

Trisha and I are dating!!!

Actually we have been dating for quite some time now and we decided the other night that we are happy and we are still gonna date! I guess DTR's aren't that bad afterall...

1- LOGAN TYLER, son of Tyler and Shannon was born at 1:15am on Sunday September 28, 2008. I can't wait to see him in a few months! Congratulations to my bro and his wife!



2- I have been waiting and waiting for my offer letter (offering me a job) from CVS to come in the mail. Not because I'm going to work for CVS cause I'm pretty sure I'm not. This just made me really excited for my future in a few months. It looks pretty promising and I'm really excited! I have til February to accept the offer and when I don't I will be terminated (Can't wait to actually get fired from a job). By that time I will have another employer and I will be starting on my career in pharmacy.

3- The whole two years that I have lived in MA I have always wanted the "boston experience." I wanted to live in boston and not have to commute to see my girlfriend and other friends and go to church. Well now is my chance! I got a great deal to stay with some friends for the month while I have my rotation at East Boston Neighborhood Health Clinic. I may even buy a subway ("T") pass and have the true experience so that I don't have to pay a $3.50 toll everyday to get to my externship. It's gonna be so fun! Stay tuned for all the good times.

4- I have gone my entire 26 years of life without a DTR, in fact I have made it a strong point to deflect them and avoid them at all cost. Even boasting at my extreme skill regarding the matter. But alas, all good things come to an end... hahaha
