She has been healthy since she was born. She is a really good eater and a really good sleeper so far.

Kate was released from the hospital on Sunday morning before her mom was even discharged.

Trisha freezing cold, white as a ghost and fatigued.

Because of the blood loss and subsequent transfusion, Trisha stayed in the hospital until late Sunday. We didn't even think we were going to be able to go home on Sunday, so we were not prepared to get discharged. When they decided to discharge us, we ended up having to borrow a carseat from the hospital. Note to everyone out there: Make sure you bring the carseat with you, just in case.

Poor little Kate in this weird carseat. I have never seen anything like it in my life. At least she got home safely.
